Startup Clubhouse is relaunching as a Florida For Profit Corporation. Yes, we have pivoted our direction in more than one way. Moving forward with our online public presence and creating the formal corporation. We decided to start with the the public side of the website and social media. Allowing us to get to know each other while the private area is in development. The formalization of this process pins us to our plan.
Mark Laymon is our Community Catalyst in this process. With over two decades of community building in the tech industry. Plus, many years previously in the hospitality industry, his knowledge of how a community grows is beyond many. Working along side many other top leaders in the South Florida tech scene, he is well know in many circles.
Now let’s get to the good stuff, the reason why we are all here, the “Clubhouse”. Starting a new project, organization, or company can be very difficult. Even in today’s world of AI there are stumbling blocks that will slow you down. Sometimes it is just another set of eyes on your crazy idea that could possibly go wild. Other times it may just be what color should I make this title font. Not everyone is as creative or as articulate as they think they are, bouncing ideas is what makes our community great. Okay, I am rambling, the point is, if you begin something and come to a roadblock, wouldn’t like to have someone that also has the same passion as you. I know I do, I am talking to friends and mentors all the time, daily!
